About us

Mammoth was started in November 2011 by Chandresh who was learning German from books but found it difficult to meet native speakers to practise with.

With several years of experience running a social sports club, coaching teams in a variety of sports, and organising regular big social events, he decided to start Mammoth London Language Exchange as a fun social language exchange meetup.

Mammoth now has over 10,000 members, with 200+ guys and girls meeting up every Wednesday and Sunday.

We have people from many different countries around the world helping each other to practise and improve their English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norweigan, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other languages!

Our event hosts are on hand to welcome everyone attending, give them name and language stickers to make it easier to meet people who speak the language that you want to practise, and introduce newcomers to other at our events.
